Neurological Physiotherapy

Neurological physiotherapy in Henley-on-Thames

Individual rehabilitation focused on movement, walking and everyday function for people living with neurological conditions.

About this service

A neurological condition can change the way you move, sometimes suddenly and sometimes gradually. Neurological physiotherapy aims to help you make the most of your movement and independence, working on the goals that matter most to you.

Katherine has extensive experience in neurological rehabilitation. Every plan is individual: two people with the same diagnosis can have very different needs, priorities and ways of moving.

How assessment and treatment work

  1. Understanding the whole picture

We discuss your diagnosis, how it affects you day to day, any other care you receive and what you hope to achieve.

  2. Detailed movement assessment

A specialist assessment may look at walking, transfers, balance, strength, coordination and fatigue, so treatment targets the right things.

  3. Goal-focused rehabilitation

Treatment combines practical, task-based practice with targeted exercise, reviewed regularly and adjusted as your needs change.
